What can be carried on the lifting platform?Virtually anything not exceeding 400kg in weight and is not too big for the platform. Domestic items such as sofas, wardrobes, large American type fridge/freezers, kitchen worktops, cookers/ ovens, bathroom suites, etc. Also commercial/industrial items such as air conditioning units, solar panels, water tanks, rooftop garden equipment, roofing items.

What is the maximum height that can be reached?Van Mounted Hoist: 28 metres (if elevator parked close to the building) with a maximum payload of 400 kg Trailer Mounted Hoist (ideal for non-vehicular access): 23 metres with a maximum payload of 300 kg Portable Hoist (ideal for non-vehicular access): maximum payload of 200 kg (height dependent)

Where must the hoist be positioned?The hoist must be positioned directly beneath the window or balcony on the same vertical line to enable it to rest squarely against the building, window sill, balcony, roof top, scaffolding, etc.

What about if there is parking restrictions?Parking tickets and parking suspensions are the usually the responsibility of the hirer as are any Local Authority Permits. In most scenarios the van mounted hoist would require 2 bays in order to align to the required area. Please do enquire for more information.
